KAFFEEFORM CUP/SAUCER FOR ESPRESSO
With the espresso cup from Kaffeeform you have something particularly innovative in front of you. It is made from recycled coffee grounds. Kaffeeform obtains the coffee grounds from surrounding bars and cafés in Berlin. During the production process, it is mixed with other vegetable raw materials and hardened with a biopolymer. This makes the cup particularly durable and robust. In addition, Kaffeeform completely dispenses with plasticizers, melamine resin and formaldehyde in the production process.
The appearance of the espresso cup is simple and yet very noble. The dark marbled color is reminiscent of wood and the cup itself with its bulbous shape is reminiscent of its classic porcelain counterpart. However, the cups made of coffee grounds are much lighter at just 60g. Another special feature of these cups is that even without coffee they spray a light espresso scent. Served with a freshly brewed espresso, the small brown cups with matching saucers quickly become the topic of conversation with every coffee & cake. And so Kaffeeform has already achieved another goal. Namely, to create an awareness of sustainability. To begin with, it's enough to talk about it and spread the word about its importance.
